Since 2017, he has been an Associate Professor with Automatic Control Laboratory, \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne, Switzerland and before that an Assistant Professor from 2011. He was a Senior Researcher with the Automatic Control Lab, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, until 2010. He has authored or coauthored more than 200 publications and was awarded an ERC starting grant to study the optimal control of building networks.
